Depigmentation therapy – treatment of skin discoloration and melasma

In the treatment of hyperpigmentation and melasma we also use a depigmentation therapy – Dermamelan. It is a preparation with exfoliating effect. The therapy is a two-stage and requires the continuation at home. Treatment starts with washing the face e.g. from make-up, then the physician applies a degreasing fluid, which has a cleansing and degreasing effect, removes dead cells from the skin surface, increasing the penetration of the active Dermamelan preparation. It is a mustard-colored mask and constitutes the basis of this treatment. Its main purpose is to eliminate spots. After the treatment, the Patient with the mask on the face goes home and washes it off after the time set by the physician, thus it is recommended to perform the treatment in the afternoon or on a day off from work and other duties.

Home treatment consists mainly in the application of a cream sustaining the effect of the treatment. The preparation supports the removal of hyperpigmentation, has properties regulating the secretion of sebum, closes pores and prevents hyperpigmentation. One of the cream ingredients is a high sunscreen that protects the skin from ultraviolet radiation during the whitening therapy. The cream intensely nourishes and moisturizes the skin after the treatment and complements the treatment, keeps the skin smooth and elastic. Must be used as directed by your physician.
