Indications for HydraFacial treatment

HydraFacial MD treatment is for everyone, regardless of gender, age or skin condition. It is a therapy for all skin types, even sensitive skin.

HydraFacial MD can be used as a treatment intended for special occasions that will expressly and spectacularly improve the condition of the skin before a big event. Dermatologists also recommend HydraFacial MD to be used regularly, often in a series, as a treatment that will keep the skin in excellent condition, rejuvenate it for a long time and guarantee optimal firmness, or support the treatment of such dermatological disorders as acne vulgaris, rosacea and hyperpigmentation.

Course of treatment

The treatment lasts from 30 to 60 minutes and the duration of its stages is selected depending on the condition and needs of the skin. HydraFacial MD, or vacuum hydropeeling, is a treatment that uses patented Vortex technology, combining the use of an innovative head, which for each stage of the treatment is selected disposable tips with a spiral shape and ribbed surface, multifunctional active substances and the appropriate level of vacuum suction power.

Step 1. Cleansing

The first stage of the HydraFacial MD treatment is cleansing of the skin and exfoliation of the top layer of the epidermis with the use of an appropriately selected tip during the so-called swirl non-crystal water microdermabrasion (hydrapeeling), during which dead cells of the epidermis, sebum and all impurities are removed. Thus prepared skin is ready for the next stage – acid peeling.

Step 2. Exfoliation

The second stage consists in spreading of peeling, which is a mixture of salicylic and glycolic acids in appropriately selected concentration, depending on the skin needs. Thanks to the use of a dedicated tip for peeling application, active substances penetrate deeper, so there is no need to use preparations with high concentrations of active substances that could have an irritating effect. Water microdermabrasion is extremely gentle and does not irritate even the most sensitive skin.

Step 3. Extraction

The next stage of the HydraFacial MD treatment is a deep vacuum extraction of the skin, which is a thorough cleansing of the pores of impurities and blackheads with the simultaneous application of a product that has soothing, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. At this stage, another tip dedicated to this task is used. Properly prepared, previously cleansed and exfoliated skin is sufficiently softened and fluffed up, and the pores are sufficiently conspicuous for the vacuum extraction procedure to be effective and gentle. It is also worth noting that this, as well as any other stage of the HydraFacial procedure is not painful, on the contrary, Patients find it pleasant and relaxing.

Step 4. Infusion

The last stage of the treatment is to provide the skin with preparations containing antioxidant and brightening substances, peptides and ZO boosters which have strong revitalizing and soothing properties. Selection of preparations – highly concentrated serums and boosters used in the last stage of the treatment, follows the diagnosis of needs and expectations of the Patient. The last stage is aimed at closing the pores, protecting the skin against free radicals, making it more flexible, radiant and revitalized. The skin is infused with peptides and antioxidants that restore maximum radiance and firmness.

The HydraFacial MD treatment uses disposable tips at each of its stages, which guarantee a high level of antiseptic treatment.
