Course of treatment

On the selected body area a cosmetic petroleum jelly or olive is applied. The treatment usually consists of two stages: the US head (ultrasound) and RF head (radio waves). The first stage is a treatment with the ultrasound head (purpose: affecting fat tissue, contouring), followed by the second stage during which the RF head is used (purpose: firming). It is worth noting that it is also possible to perform the entire procedure using a single head – it depends on the effect we want to achieve.

The Accent Prime treatment platform is equipped with innovative heads of different sizes, which are selected depending on the expected result and the area to be treated. Producers have used an innovative patented solution, unavailable in any other device, based on radio waves in a unique Unipolar technology with the highest frequency available on the market, equal to 40.68 MHz (for comparison, other devices offer frequencies of about 1 – 10 MHz) and a combination of two types of ultrasound waves – transverse (so-called cold) and longitudinal (so-called warm).

Ultrasound Waves PURPOSE: Contouring

Thanks to the possibility of operating with cold or warm ultrasound waves emitted by the same head, we adjust the treatment to individual needs and maximize treatment effectiveness. The option of simultaneous emission of cold and warm ultrasounds is also possible and, generating the highest energy, brings the best results in case of areas where the problem of accumulated fat is particularly intense.

The patented cold ultrasound technology used in the device allows for a very effective and safe impact on fat tissue, without affecting the surrounding tissues at the same time (selectivity). The ultrasound wave reaches the fat cell, destroys its membrane, causing its gradual disintegration and excretion from the body through the lymphatic system. Moreover, the warm ultrasound causes a pressure change in the tissues, which causes the movement of water molecules in the cells, resulting in endogenous heat, i.e. heat generated inside the body. The pressure change and temperature damage the cell membrane of adipocytes, thus the fatty content of the cell is released into the intercellular space of the tissues. As a result, the volume of fat cells is reduced and the treated areas are slimmed and reshaped.

Unipolar radio wave PURPOSE: Firming

The unique Unipolar radio wave technology used is designed to firm the skin in the treatment area. How? The main task of the unipolar radio wave is to gradually raise the temperature of the subcutaneous tissues and warm up the collagen fibers to a temperature of 40-45 degrees Celsius. Heating is achieved by two mechanisms – setting water molecules in rotational motion (moving molecules generate endogenous heat) and using the phenomenon of tissue resistance. The use of the highest commercially available wave frequency of 40.68 MHz allows for rapid and uniform increase in tissue temperature. The temperature initiates a two-stage process of collagen remodeling. In the first stage unipolar radio waves affect the collagen which is the building block of the skin. Collagen fibers are shortened and the skin becomes visibly firmer. This effect is noticeable immediately after the treatment. In the second stage fibroblasts are stimulated to synthesize new collagen, which provides the effect of long-term remodeling of the dermis, even lasting several months, during which the production of new collagen has an impact on long-term improvement of skin density, firmness and elasticity. Tissue heating has a number of beneficial effects on the skin: it speeds up blood circulation, improves metabolism and stimulates the lymphatic system to remove fat faster and more effectively and detoxifies tissues. Moreover, drainage of fat deposits by the lymphatic system contributes to a significant reduction in cellulite.

It is necessary to take care of proper hydration of the body before the treatment and during the entire therapy, which includes a series of treatments. Well hydrated body provides better conduction of waves and ensures proper work of the lymphatic system, which is responsible for removal of waste products.

• Adequate hydration of the body (3 liters of still mineral water after the procedure and for several consecutive days)
