Treatment of vascular problems
Cutaneous vascular problems affect thousands of Patients. Damaged blood vessels expand, become visible, and as a consequence lead to the appearance of unsightly "spider veins,” bruising, and even petechiae. Medical progress has made precise diagnostics possible, but only the development of advanced laser technology has allowed for effective treatment of visibly dilated vessels. To meet the needs, in our clinic appeared V-LASER – innovative and very effective laser technology dedicated to the skin with vascular problems of varying degrees of advancement.

V-LASER – why is it used?
V-LASER is a breakthrough solution in the field of laser therapy of vascular lesions, its versatility and power provide high efficiency and precision of therapy, allowing for effective treatment of a much wider range of vascular problems than other technologies available on the market. V-LASER is also innovative due to the use of a special cooling head, which provides comfort and safety to the Patient during the treatment, reduces healing time and minimizes the risk of complications, and the effects are often visible after the first treatment.
V-LASER – for whom?
V-LASER allows for effective and safe treatment of a wide range of vascular lesions with varying degrees of advancement, including those against which previously available technologies were helpless.
V-LASER perfectly deals with such problems as:
- Visible blood vessels on the face (especially around the wings nose)
- Rash
- Teleangiectasias
- Vascular scars
- Dilated vessels in the lower extremities
- Congenital vascular malformations
- Hemangiomas
What is the procedure of closing blood vessels?
During a laser vascular removal procedure, a photothermolysis reaction occurs. The blood present in the vessels selectively absorbs the laser radiation to a greater extent than the surrounding tissues. As a result, the vessel is rapidly heated and its irreversible destruction and absorption occurs.
How quickly will the effects be visible?
The vessels usually become fully absorbed after a period of 8 to 12 weeks. In case of facial veins, this is usually about 2 weeks. After this period, most of the capillaries will completely disappear and the remaining ones will become lighter. In case of advanced lesions several treatments may be needed.
What are the contraindications to perform the procedure?
- Tanned skin
- Active herpes and purulent lesions on the skin at the treatment site
- Tendency to scarring
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
