The first stage of this procedure is to apply an anesthetic ointment on the lips. Then, the physician proceeds to inject the preparation with hyaluronic acid into selected areas of the mouth. The anesthetic ointment and anesthetic substance contained in the preparation (lidocaine) cause that the Patient may feel only slight discomfort. Hyaluronic acid used for the procedure is very plastic, so it is evenly distributed in the tissues. After completing the introduction of preparation, the physician performs a gentle lip massage to achieve the ideal smoothness of the lips. The positive effect is visible immediately. Treatment usually takes from 20 to 45 minutes.
