Course of treatment

The duration of treatment is 15-90 minutes depending on the surface of treated skin. The undoubted advantage of this type of treatment is that it is completely painless, so there is no need to give the Patient anesthesia. First, the skin surface to be treated is degreased and a layer of ultrasound gel is applied on it. Then the physician adjusts the procedure to the individual Patient's needs. Operation of the SonoQueen device is based on HIFU technology, i.e. focused ultrasound wave energy reaching the inner layers of the skin, up to the level of SMAS muscle fascia, which allows to achieve the effect of surgical lifting without the use of a scalpel. During the treatment the ultrasound wave penetrates deep into the skin creating controlled micro-damage, thus triggering the process of thermal coagulation. As a result, new collagen fibres are created, old fibres are regenerated and tissues are shrunk. Thanks to this process Patient’s skin becomes firmer in an express pace. The first effects are visible immediately after the first treatment. However, for the full results in the form of smooth and elastic skin the Patient will have to wait about 3 months.

The number of treatments needed is individual and depends on many factors including the Patient’s age and skin condition. The series includes from 1 to 3 treatments, which should be performed at intervals of 3-4 months. Technology

SonoQueen device is based on the action of concentrated ultrasound wave energy, which by means of HIFU technology reaches the dermis, adipose tissue and the myofascial layer (SMAS). SonoQueen, using HIFU technology, reaches the dermis without irritating the epidermis. The concentrated high-frequency ultrasound wave is able to reach the deep dermal layer of the skin, creating controlled micro-damage at the appropriate depth, thus initiating the process of thermal coagulation. The device provides heat energy of 60℃-70℃, which causes collagen to heat up. This results in the regeneration of old collagen fibers, the formation of new fibers, and the shrinking of tissues. As a result, the Patient gets the effect of smoothed, firmed and visibly "rejuvenated" skin.

Moreover, the device is equipped with a set of 4 cartridges that allow to reach different tissue depths. Depending on the treated skin area, the depth varies from 2mm to 6mm. As a result, the person performing the treatment is able to adjust the intensity of treatment to the problem the Patient is facing.

Effect

The first effects are visible immediately after the procedure – the skin becomes smoothed and firm. Such an effect is due to the fact that in the deep layer of the skin coagulation process took place, which initiated the creation of new collagen fibers. Recovery

The treatment does not require a period of convalescence, because the device works only in the inner layer of the skin, without damaging the epidermis. Immediately after the treatment the Patients can return to their daily activities.

After the procedure, the Patient’s skin may experience redness that subsides after a few hours or slight swelling that lasts up to a few days.

Indications after treatment
