Tropocollagen Guna
TropocollagenGuna is an innovative injection treatment for patients who wish to enhance or prolong the effects of anti-ageing, regenerating, body shaping, reducing of local excess fatty tissue treatments or treatment of scars and stretch marks. The preparations used for this treatment contain the only tropocollagen type I available on the Polish market, i.e. a naturally occurring protein in the human organism which, if administered topically, rebuilds defects in the collagen fibre structure, thus improving skin elasticity and firmness. Such action, combined with additional, carefully selected active ingredients, which vary depending on the type and purpose of the preparation, has the potential to significantly support the action of other therapies aimed at improving the condition of tissues, which has been confirmed by various studies.
Technology
The preparations used in the TropocollagenGuna procedure, i.e. CollagenMedical Devices, contain tropocollagen, i.e. a protein naturally occurring in tissues, from which, in metabolic processes, collagen fibres are formed, being the main component of the so-called skin biorestructure - the basis responsible for its structural integrity, elasticity of tissues and their tensile strength. As a result of ageing processes, as well as various disease processes or injuries, collagen in tissues is degraded, and the 'biorestructure' is also damaged. Tropocollagen, when administered topically, has the potential to replenish the defects in its structure. As a result, the anatomical and functional structure of collagen fibres is strengthened, and the auxiliary substances contained in the preparations make this process faster and more effective. Such action not only contributes to an improvement in the condition of the skin, but is very important in preparing the skin for other therapies or enhancing and prolonging the effects of treatments aimed at stimulating collagen synthesis. This technology is not only used in aesthetic medicine, it has also been used for years in wound healing, in the treatment of pain in the musculoskeletal system, as well as in supporting the treatment of scars and stretch marks.
Collagen Medical Devices
The TropocollagenGuna procedure, or injection of CollagenMedical Devices preparations, is a procedure that is versatile in its application, due to its great potential for personalisation. The doctor performing the procedure can individualise the combination of preparations so that the effects best match the patient's problems and expectations.
MD-TISSUE
It was developed to support therapies aimed at slowing down the skin ageing process. Since one of the main causes of the loss of elasticity and firmness of the skin and the appearance of wrinkles and deepening furrows on its surface is the degradation of collagen fibres, the main aim of MD-TISSUE is to rebuild their defects.
The results of MD-TISSUE treatments include the support of therapies aimed at:
- improving skin firmness and tone, as well as skin thickening. As a result, the skin of the face, neck and neckline takes on a more youthful and fresh appearance.
- lifting of a drooping facial oval.
- smoothing of superficial wrinkles and slowing the formation of new ones.
- moisturising dehydrated skin, which also improves its overall quality.
- slowing down and eliminating the effects of oxidative stress, such as dryness and lack of radiance, by reducing free radicals.
- improving the skin's oxygenation level and skin tone through a series of punctures necessary to introduce the product deep into the skin.
MD-TISSUE is injected into the skin using a needle mesotherapy technique, with the additional regenerative effect of the treatment. Safe and controlled micro-damage to the skin has the effect of motivating the skin to repair itself immediately. Its cells begin to produce growth factors, remodel the intercellular matrix and increase fibroblast activity. As a result, the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid increases in the skin, and new blood vessels are formed.
MD-MATRIX
Formulated to support safe body contouring treatments by maximally accelerating tissue metabolism. Tropocollagen type I influences the reconstruction of fibrous connective tissue, which is part of adipose tissue. It supports the work of blood and lymphatic vessels, thereby improving lymph circulation in the treatment area. As a result, the MD-MATRIX preparation restores the correct metabolism of adipose tissue, and the content of carefully selected active ingredients has a positive effect on accelerating metabolic processes in adipocytes, leading to faster fat burning.
The results of MD-MATRIX treatments include supporting therapies aimed at:
- removing excess locally accumulated fatty tissue and slimming the body in the navel area, above the knees, on the hips, upper and inner thighs and on the arms.
- reduction of the double chin and firming of the skin in this area.
- reducing the visibility of cellulite by supporting blood vessels and the lymphatic system.
- improving the density, firmness, elasticity and overall condition of the skin in the treated area.
MD-MUSCLE and MD-NECK
These preparations are intended to support therapies aimed at treating a wide range of muscle and joint problems, but are also used in anti-aging prevention. Tropocollagen type I regenerates the connective tissue that forms an integral part of the muscle and its fascia. It also affects the blood vessels running through the muscles, which supply them with nutrients and remove harmful metabolites, as well as the nerves that are responsible for muscle movement. As a result, MD-MUSCLE and MD-NECK therapies accelerate the processes of restoring normal muscle tone, and the skin over the treated area regenerates and firms faster.
Treatments with MD-MUSCLE and MD-NECK include supportive therapies aimed at:
- restoring proper resting muscle tone, which is reflected in a rejuvenated appearance of the treatment area.
- giving the face a rested appearance by relaxing the muscles in the area.
- facilitating muscle stretching and function.
- treating bruxism.
- relaxing the muscles of the eye area in combination therapies with botulinum toxin.
Personalisation of therapy
CollagenMedical Devices preparations show synergistic effects in solving many aesthetic, dermatological and health problems. Depending on the patient's needs, the doctor matches the appropriate product or combination of preparations for optimal results. The frequency and number of treatments is also individually adjusted based on factors such as the type of problem being treated and many others. Before starting the treatment, the specialist takes a thorough medical history and informs the patient of the pre- and post-treatment indications.
Treatment protocols
TropocollagenGun's treatments with CollagenMedical Devices are versatile, safe and effective as medical devices. The personalisability of the therapy and the rejuvenating and healing properties of tropocollagen type I make the results of the treatments rewarding.
Standard therapeutic protocols involve a series of several treatments performed at specific intervals, but the doctor, taking into account the patient's individual needs, develops a detailed treatment plan. The following treatment protocol is most commonly used:
First month - 1 treatment/week (4 treatments)
Second month - 1 treatment/2 weeks (2 treatments)
Third month - 1 treatment/month (1 treatment)
Fourth month - 1 treatment/month (1 treatment)
Effect maintenance treatments (1-2 treatments) are usually performed every 6-12 months.
Course of the procedure
The procedure is carried out using the needle mesotherapy method. After thorough cleaning and disinfection of the treatment area, the doctor injects the preparation into specific points. The treatment does not cause much discomfort, but the treatment area may be anaesthetised with an anaesthetic ointment at the patient's request.
Indications before the treatment
A few days before the treatment, the Patient should not take anti-inflammatory and blood-clotting drugs, as these increase the risk of bruising in the treated area.
Indications after the treatment
For a few days after the procedure, the patient should avoid:
- Exposure to the sun
- Use of the solarium and sauna
- Use of the swimming pool
- Excessive physical exertion
Recuperation
After the treatment, the patient can directly return to their daily activities. Possible side effects include mild redness, itching, swelling or bruising, which resolve within a few days.
